In the ancient yogic tradition, chakras are seen as powerful energy centers located along the spine, from the base to the crown of the head. Each of the seven main chakras corresponds to different aspects of our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Root Chakra (Muladhara) – Grounding & survival
Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana) – Creativity & pleasure
Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura) – Confidence & willpower
Heart Chakra (Anahata) – Love & compassion
Throat Chakra (Vishuddha) – Communication & truth
Third Eye Chakra (Ajna) – Intuition & clarity
Crown Chakra (Sahasrara) – Connection to higher self
When these energy centers are open and balanced, we experience flow, ease, and a deeper connection to ourselves and the world around us. But when one or more are blocked, it may manifest as emotional stress or physical discomfort.
Working with the chakras through yoga, breathwork, sound healing, and meditation allows us to release what no longer serves us and tap into our fullest potential.
